We offer cutting-edge infrastructure as well as highly motivated and well-qualified employees.
As a customer of Arvato Media, you avoid large investments in your own logistics, because we operate a state-of-the-art distribution and logistics center optimized for the distribution of toys for you in Verl. We currently manage the distribution of up to 5,000 packages from this center to retailers every day. As one of the leading service providers in the toy industry, we are able to support you with a high level of expertise in all logistics-related matters – in an individualized manner and under economically advantageous conditions.
What we can do for you
However, we are not satisfied until your customers are also satisfied. Therefore, we have developed special logistics services for the specific needs of the toy industry. For example, we optimize shipping by putting individually ordered products together as specified by your customers and sending all packages belonging to one shipment at the same time.
Furthermore, we offer additional services for your retail customers, such as the parking model. To do this, we collect a retailer’s very small orders as instructed by you or your customer before sending them in a bundle in one shipment. However, if the retailer needs a rush customer order the next day, we can utilize our fast track: Goods ordered by noon leave our facility that same day on the fast track and reach your customers the following day.
Our flexibility does not end when the eight-hour work day is over. We have developed models for working hours that meet the specific needs of the toy industry. If you need special shifts, we will set them up for you. In this way, your customers always receive your products reliably and quickly.

We take on all aspects of your accounts receivable management. From checking the creditworthiness of your customers to account management, debt collection and reminder mechanisms to legal proceedings. So instead of many thousands of accounts receivable, you have only one – Arvato Media.
As a factor, we also ensure that you receive your money quickly and securely and that you acquire additional liquidity. We purchase your retailer accounts receivable from you after invoicing and then pay them out by a set date even if your customers have not yet paid them. As a factoring specialist, we have a central accounts receivable account for each retail customer where invoices and credits for all publishing houses are accounted for. In this way, we ensure greater clarity and minimize administrative expenses. Retailers can compare several invoices of Arvato Media with only one invoice at any one time.
Upon request, you can also take out separate del credere insurance that protects you 100 percent against defaulted payments. Furthermore, pre-financing of the existing receivables volume is also possible.
Within the scope of the invoicing, we are subject to continuous monitoring by the Federal Bank and BAFIN.

IT, information and data management

Based on this, you can use a web-based information system (eBIS).
What we can do for you
Our inventory management system (OPUS) is tailored to the supply of all customers in the toy industry. We take on the hosting, maintenance and development of the system. You can access the system via a XEN desktop environment and use it for your own order processing and customer care. In the process, you will benefit in particular from the many existing EDI connections.
We offer you up-to-date data on customer sales volumes, total sales volume, stock, article data, representative sales, assessments of campaigns, returns and individual accounts receivable documentation via our information system eBIS. In addition, you will find every individual process reflected in detail in your analysis. You can access our distribution information system via the Internet. Together with many of our clients, we developed eBIS as a central information interface between distribution management, external sales and Arvato SCM Solutions. eBIS provides you with online information about all distribution and sales processes. We offer you standard analyses as well as individualized reports in accordance with your wishes.
