How would you explain your job as an SAP key user to a non-IT person?
In order to guarantee a successful process adaptation or introduction of new processes, these must be tested carefully and accurately. The task of an SAP Key User is to define a test concept that includes all necessary test scenarios and test steps. Subsequently, these tests must be carried out and documented. In close cooperation with SAP developers, the identified errors and problems are corrected and the tests are repeated until the process runs smoothly.
Who is the job as an SAP Key User exactly right for?
For anyone who likes to dive deeply into topics and is interested in overall contexts. You should have an analytical mindset, diligence and accuracy to ensure high quality processes.
What do you particularly like about your job as an SAP key user?
I particularly like the close collaboration in our agile team and the exchange with the various specialist departments. In addition, you are always faced with new challenges due to new projects and new process requirements.

What do you particularly like about your job as a BPM?
My activities are very complex and varied. I am attracted by the mix of project, process and test management, which offers many challenges and potential for further development. I particularly appreciate the close and constructive exchange with our IT department.
What surprised you most about working as a BPM?
It never gets boring! No two projects are the same. Just when I think I now know all the tasks and challenges that projects bring, the next project holds more surprises in store.
What interfaces do you have in the company / what departments do you work with?
With all - depending on the project focus, this can be the areas of logistics, transport management, finance, trade, key account, etc. but also customers or 3rd parties.
Which projects / successes at Arvato make you particularly proud?
I am proud of all the projects to which I was able to make a valuable contribution: In some projects, I had to design and implement robust processes within a very short timeframe. In one project, we performed a multi-client migration from SAP R3 to SAP 4/Hana - with all the organizational and technical challenges that entails. In another project, we again had to simultaneously put a customer live at two different locations in Germany and Poland.

It's not always just the big projects that make me proud, but also every small, realized Change Request (CR) that makes the user's life a little bit easier.
