Live shopping will soon be Instagram's future role in social commerce. We recently published a comprehensive study on live shopping in Europe and have seen Instagram evolve into a social commerce platform.

There's no way around it anymore: We're talking about no less a channel than social media. Almost every consumer is on the go on social networks, so that YouTube, Instagram and the like have become an integral part of consumers' everyday lives. These networks have also already established themselves in retail. As a channel for information, inspiration and ultimately also purchase, Instagram and the like are playing an increasingly relevant role in consumers' customer journeys. For this reason, retailers and manufacturers often engage in elaborate social media marketing in order to address their customers in a targeted manner. The question that companies often ask themselves is: Which networks are relevant to my target group? Which content is attractive? And how can I conduct successful social commerce? This much can already be revealed: Our ECC CLUB study provides answers to all three questions.

We also take a closer look at retailer and manufacturer sites on social media. Among other things, we want to know on which social network consumers follow retailers and manufacturers the most, what they expect from the pages, and which content is most attractive.
