Arvato Polska launches another warehouse dedicated to e-commerce in Poland
Arvato in Poland, a leader in end-to-end outsourcing solutions for e-commerce and healthcare, is expanding its infrastructure base.
In mid-March this year, the company will open a new warehouse space – an international returns centre for an e-commerce client. The investment, worth several million zlotys, will be located in Komorniki near Poznań.
Due to the dynamic development of the company – acquiring new projects and customers from the e-commerce sector – Arvato is opening another, eleventh, warehouse in Poland. The company will provide comprehensive services for returns and complaints from 20 European countries. In total, Arvato will have 275,000 m2 of warehouse space. In the new location, the company will employ 120 people at the start.
"The necessity to launch a new warehouse is caused by the further intensive development of our e-commerce services and the acquisition of new projects from customers from the fashion sector who need the highest quality of services. In the newly created warehouse, we will carry out processes on an international scale, which confirms that the Polish branch of Arvato Supply Chain Solutions is one of the strategic logistics hubs in the group for servicing the e-commerce sector", explains Lidia Ratajczak-Kluck, President of the Management Board of Arvato in Poland.
In connection with servicing the fashion industry, the new location will be used to carry out operations related to accepting and processing returns of such assortment as: clothing, footwear, handbags, accessories, checking the condition of the returned goods through detailed and thorough quality control, handling complaints according to the set standards, entering data into the system and searching for the necessary information.
Due to the need to recruit 120 people responsible for processing returns for the new warehouse, Arvato SCS is already recruiting in the Wielkopolska region. The company is also looking for people without professional experience, to whom it offers professional training and cooperation in a dynamic team.
The employer, Arvato, will provide employees with an employment contract, free travel, free drinks, extra snacks or fruit every Wednesday, a medical or sports card, special actions (e.g. competitions, starter kit, sports competitions), birthday and holiday gifts.
