By using shuttle systems, we increase throughput times and performance in the warehouse in a number of ways, including greater flexibility in the face of fluctuations in the order structure, accelerated order picking, increased warehouse capacities due to maximum utilization of space, efficient use of resources, and error reduction. We flexibly combine the systems with other technologies within our warehouses, such as conveyor technology or carton erectors and sealers, to significantly boost performance. We use both 1D and 2D shuttle systems and also apply them for the storage of hazardous materials.

Thanks to the use of AutoStore systems, we efficiently handle increasing volumes for our clients and can quickly expand the system as needed - ensuring the scalability of your business. The grid design maximizes space utilization and enables optimal storage density and capacity optimization. We also map the handling of hazardous materials within AutoStore systems. Robot-controlled picking leads to more efficient order processing and a significant reduction in errors.

Our depalletizing robots are able to depalletize random mixed cartons and significantly increase the throughput in our warehouse. The special feature of our robots: the addition of label recognition and separation. With the flexible gripper head and self-learning AI vision software, each robot puts up to 750 different cartons per hour on the conveyor. We developed these intelligent robot-controlled depalletizers together with our partners and so far, they are in use at our sites in Venlo (NL), Gennep (NL) and Louisville (USA).

One of our palletizing solutions is a cobot-system that handles inbound cartons efficiently in collaboration with our human colleagues. With  self-programable loadpatterns for homogeneous SKUs it is able to handle 420 cartons per hour (single-pick) and up to 1,200 cartons per hour (multi-pick). The system runs stand-alone and does not need complex interfaces to matching systems as SAP. Accelerating the inbound process, they are used in Louisville. In Venlo we use our modular palletizing solution with optional integrated scanner for auto receiving, auto empty-pallet dispenser, auto-wrapping, auto label-applicator and ground-floor hand-over. It executes pre-programmed-stack patterns with a throughput of 730 single picks and 2,400 multi-picks. Automatic palletizing on a new level to get the goods to the customer as quickly as possible. 

Integrated into the bag sorter system in Hanover, the robot arm recognizes the optimum position for gripping each product and thus ensures safe and efficient movement of the goods. It checks the recognizability of the products, the correct orientation and the readability of the barcodes and processes irregularly shaped items, which are distributed in containers in a disorderly manner. The development combines a robotic arm with AI algorithms based on image processing and is designed to handle complex logistics processes with exceptional accuracy and improve the quality of operations. The robot therefore fits perfectly with our automation strategy and meets our customers' business requirements.

In rack-to-person solutions, autonomously moving robots support our employees to transport the warehouse racks with goods to the picking stations. This enables targeted and efficient picking, as well as warehouse management. Especially for our clients with a high order volume and a wide product range, using this solution can significantly increase efficiency and generate enormous added value.

We use fully automated packaging machines at various locations to significantly increase our throughput of cartons per hour. This allows us to respond more flexibly to our clients' ramped-up capacities, such as during peak season. The machines produce precisely fitting shipping cartons and simultaneously print the shipping documents. By cutting to size, we eliminate wasted space and reduce the amount of cardboard material used, saving transport costs, reducing waste and having a positive impact on the environment.
