We aquire THINK Logistics and enter the Canadian Market

Topic: Company

We have acquired the Canadian logistics company THINK Logistics. With this transaction, we enter the Canadian market and integrate the business into a more unified North American fulfillment structure, enabling clients to operate aligned supply chains across the United States and Canada.

The acquisition accelerates Arvato’s expansion in one of the world’s most dynamic e-commerce and retail regions. As cross-border trade grows in complexity and customer expectations continue to rise, global brands require technology-enabled fulfillment platforms that combine scale, precision and local market expertise. By combining THINK Logistics’ Canadian operations with our established U.S. footprint, we strengthen our ability to deliver consistent, cross-border execution across vital North American markets.

Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, THINK Logistics is a technology-driven third-party logistics provider offering end-to-end supply chain solutions. The company serves national and international clients across e-commerce, retail, fashion, and high-tech. With advanced warehouse technologies, strong omnichannel expertise and a customer-centric culture, THINK Logistics has demonstrated sustained growth and operational excellence in the Canadian market.

“Entering the Canadian market is not simply geographic expansion. It is a strategic move to integrate Canada into our platform,” says Frank Schirrmeister, CEO of Arvato. “THINK Logistics combines technology, operational strength and entrepreneurial mindset. Together, we are creating a seamless cross-border operating model that enables global brands to scale faster, reduce complexity and increase resilience across the U.S. and Canada.”

Technology-driven growth and scalable integration

THINK Logistics brings deep expertise in omnichannel and e-commerce fulfillment, value-added services and retail distribution. With strategically located facilities across Canada, the company adds immediate national coverage and scalable operational capacity to our North American infrastructure. Its technology capabilities and flexible operating model complement our global network and industry-specific supply chain solutions. The combined platform enables aligned inventory positioning, coordinated distribution, and consistent service standards across borders.

The partnership between Arvato and THINK Logistics has evolved successfully over recent years, providing a strong foundation for fast and structured integration. Both companies share a commitment to innovation, operational precision, and long-term client relationships.

“Our collaboration with Arvato has already demonstrated the value of combining local expertise with global scale,” says Robert Hashimoto, President of THINK Logistics. “Joining Arvato allows us to further strengthen our technology-driven solutions within an international network while preserving our client-focused culture. Together, we are well positioned to support the next phase of growth in North America.”

Long-term value creation in a strategic growth market

Canada represents a key gateway market for international brands seeking reliable access to North American consumers and efficient cross-border fulfillment structures. Through this acquisition, we strengthen our regional integration and enhance our ability to support clients across industries with scalable, technology-enabled supply chain solutions.

The transaction reinforces our long-term strategy to build regionally integrated logistics platforms in strategically relevant markets, enabling companies to turn supply chain complexity into competitive advantage.
