We expand our U.S. operations with a new site in Easton, Pennsylvania

We are further expanding our footprint in the U.S.. Carbel, U.S. based 3PL provider acquired by Arvato earlier this year, is taking over a strategically important distribution center in Easton, Pennsylvania, on behalf of a global fashion client. Starting in June 2025, Carbel will take over responsibility for B2C and B2B outbound operations from a 60,000 sqm warehouse in Easton, Pennsylvania.
“Our strategic move of combining strengths is already proving it’s success,” says Javier Torrens, President Carbel at Arvato. “Our complementary capabilities allowed us to secure this opportunity together – a clear validation of our joint approach in the U.S. fashion logistics market.”
“The expansion not only strengthens our long-standing partnership with one of the world’s leading fashion brands,” adds Lidia Ratajczak-Kluck, President Large Scale Fashion at Arvato, “it also proves that our passion to deliver our best every day to support the growth of our clients through scalable, fashion-focused logistics solutions across global markets, is exactly what our clients are looking for.”
The Easton site is equipped with carton racks, hanging garment storage, mezzanine levels, and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs). In addition to returns management, which is already being performed from a nearby facility in Nazareth, PA, Carbel will manage inbound and outbound warehousing, value-added services, transportation, and customs clearance for both B2C and B2B operations for the client.
The operating model combines about 450 employees of permanent staff with additional flexible resources – a setup proven to align with the client’s operational requirements. “One of our strengths is our ability to react flexibly to seasonal volume fluctuations, e.g., during summer sale and offer a fitted and scalable solution” says Javier Torrens.
With this expansion, we strengthen our position as a globally connected 3PL partner, capable of delivering end-to-end supply chain solutions across all regions and channels. The quick integration of the Easton site into the Carbel network without any disruption of the services for the client is a perfect example of how our strategy to ‘shape supply chains globally’ comes to life – by combining local with global expertise, scalable infrastructure, and a deep understanding of industry-specific requirements.
